Why Choose Clockwork  Tattoo & Piercing Studio?

Clockwork has long island’s NY exclusive custom tattoo artists. We are true custom tattoo artists who sit with our clients, and listen to them to find out exactly what they want. This process is crucial for placement, color, theme and style that are desired by the client. We will draw out various possibilities that may work for the client by showing examples.
Making quick rough sketches or looking through examples the clients bring in. We also freestyle (drawing on the skin) the image onto the client or a combination of drawing up a finished sketch and also freehanding certain elements. This is custom tattooing at its best. This is what you can expect from Clockwork.
Clockwork specializes in cover-ups. If you have an old tattoo that isn’t what you had in mind or doesn’t go with the stylistic direction that you are aiming for, well you’re in luck. Tatupaul is a master of the cover-up tattoo. Too often a bad tattoo can easily become an even worst looking tattoo by having it covered up or touched up by a tattooist who is not qualified to do the work.
Don’t be quick to just let any tattoo artist attempt to cover up your old tattoo. A bad cover up job can be even more disappointing than the original tattoo and can end up costing you thousands of dollars in laser surgery with results that are not always consistent or favorable.

Looking for some very special clients, people that value their art and are looking for someone who is just as interested in creating and caring for a masterpiece as they are. Someone who wants their tattoos to have meaning for them, and understands a good artists takes time to understand that. I’m looking for clients that want to have someone who invests their attention, time, and money into the product they provide. A person who isn’t looking for a sticker-sized tattoo but a head-turner of a piece.

I’m looking for a special kind of client that is patient and willing to invest their own patience in knowing that a masterpiece will take time. A client who is willing to understand that perfection doesn’t happen on the spot.

Someone who will take advice from the expert they have come to see. Someone who isn’t concerned with it being right now and wants someone willing to schedule their time out and put hours of (essentially free work as I don’t charge for the drawings) time into making your masterpiece? A client who values an artist who takes time to ask questions and take charge and offers guidance of such an important decision.

My favorite kinds of tattoos are surrealism, watercolor, semi-realism, lettering, graffiti art, and bright vibrant color or black and grey. I love doing cover-ups and memorials. As well as anything else that has deep meaning to you. It is my honor to have your trust in these projects. Are you one of the clients I’m looking for? If so shoot me an email/message/phone call and let’s set up your free consultation today!

aftercare instructions

AQUAPHOR– not for open wounds

A+D OINTMENT– only for baby diaper rash

BACITRACIN/NEOSPORIN– for scrapes and cuts. These ointments pull out the ink

VASELINE– no good same as above

TATTOOS

Remove bandage after 3 hours. DO NOT REBANDAGE.

Clean tattoo with antibacterial soap and water 4x a day.

Use yours hands only, do not use anything abrasive.

Apply thin coats of CLOCKWORK TATTOO BALM

4X a day massaging it into the tattoo for 15 min for 7-10 days.

Itchiness, light scabs are normal. Do not pick on it.

Do not submerge tattoo in pool, salt water, sauna or

exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light for 2-4 weeks

DERMA SHIELD OR SANIDERM

After the 24-48 hours (depending on artist advice) , gently peel away the Derma Shield/Saniderm away from skin. This will work best while under warm, running water. Once it has all been removed, wash your tattoo with unscented soap and warm water. Use CLOCKWORK TATTOO BALM for the remainder of the healing

BODY PIERCING

Wash hands first, than apply antibacterial soap 1-3 a day.

Clean crust off jewelry, rinse off soap throughly, dry with paper towel.

Do a Sea Salt soak 1-3x a day with CLOCKWORK SEA SALT SPRAY (more convenient) or make your own sea salt & DISTILLED WATER

Do not use Bactine, Alcohol, Peroxide, or ANY kind of ointments

Do not touch or play with your piercing with dirty hands

ORAL PIERCING

Rinse with non-alcoholic Mouthwash every time you eat, alcoholic drinks, body fluids or smoke Eat soft cold food, non crunchy, spicy or chewable food for 5 days

MICRODERMALS

Microdermal implants take 6 months to heal completely, and the attachment on top should not be changed any earlier than 6 months from the time of the procedure. This gives the bonds under the skin time to strengthen enough to withstand unscrewing the attachment.

The first 2 weeks is crucial in the healing of your Micro Dermal Anchor Piercing !

Wash Micro dermal once a day with antibacterial soap  and DISTILLED water. Make sure to do this gently by hand (NO washcloths, loofas, or sponges) as they can become entangled and pull dermal’s out. Rinse with warm DISTILLED water OR use CLOCKWORK SEA-SALT SPRAY

Let air dry (do NOT dry with towel)

Once dry put circular band aid on dermal. Wear circular band aid for the first 2 weeks, this will help the micro dermal set properly.

Always be careful with clothing, seatbelts, linens, jewelry, etc. They can snag or pull out dermal’s.

CLOCKWORK TATTOO BALM

For skin to heal, it needs nutrients. Our clockwork tattoo butter provides an abundance of exactly the nutrients skin needs to heal quickly, with far less damage to tattoo ink, helping you achieve the best possible outcome for your body art. We’re confident our tattoo butter provides more skin healing nutrients than any other similar product, the rest of which mostly consists of cheap oils, wax, and chemicals. Clockwork Tattoo Butter is herbal infused with five skin-healing herbs and is rich in raw, organic, unrefined shea butter, which has been called a “superfood for the skin” by leading dermatologists. we also blend in five luxury skin-care oils–sunflower, coconut, soybean, apricot kernal, and lavender –all ultra-rich in vitamins A, B, C, E and others, along with a broad spectrum of natural fatty acids, the building blocks of skin proteins.==============================================================Our clockwork tattoo butter has been highly refined through a natural process (no chemicals added) of multiple heatings and filterings, to remove all impurities that could possibly damage or discolor tattoo ink. NO OTHERTATTOO BALM MANUFACTURER DOES THIS, because it is time-consuming, and adds expense to the manufacturing process. clockwork balm binds the other ingredients together into a balm, plus, it covers the wound with a very thin but highly effective layer of protection. The various botanical ingredients “pack the punch” needed to aggressively promote the healing of a fresh tattoo, and to protect and reinvigorate older tattoos, as well. These ingredients have the following properties: Anti-inflammatory – Reduces swelling and skin redness when applied topically. Antiseptic, germicidal, anti-bacterial – Reduces risk of infection in open wounds and cuts due to bacterial and other microbes. Antioxidant – Protects the skin from damage by free radicals, promotes repair of skin at the cellular level, and helps to regrow replacement cells. Anti-aging – Provides nutrition and support to the skin so that aging is reduced. Antipruritic (anti-itch) – Some of our unique ingredients work to soothe itching, without the fading of ink and numbing associated with chemical treatments, so the user will be far less tempted to scratch the wound, which is a major cause of damage to fresh tattoos. Antiallergenic – Helps to suppress the natural allergic response to tattoo ink, which causes the body’s immune system to attack and break down freshly installed tattoo ink. Use of this balm is believed to result in more of the installed ink remaining in place, resulting in less need to rework the tattoo soon after installation, and a tattoo that remains much more crisp and brightly colored over its lifetime.

CLOCKWORK SEA SALT SPRAY
